Description
Reed contact proximity switch (RS.DA93Z) for pneumatic series OV hose pinch valves from AKO Armaturen.
The reed signal transmitter provides a position feedback on the switching status of the hose pinch valve by means of a flashing LED diode.
After reaching the “open“ or “closed“ position, a magnetic contact (reed contact) in the signal transmitter is closed. The signal transmitter is switched by a magnetic field generated by a magnetic strip on the piston of the pneumatic cylinder. This signal can provide feedback on the “open” and “closed” state for further processing in a process control system.
