Description
This bulk material knife gate valve (type C) is a unidirectional wafer-type gate valve specially designed to meet the requirements of dry and free-flowing bulk solids.
The knife gate valve with flanged connection (wafer DIN 1092-2 PN10) in nominal diameter DN 50 is prepared for operation with an electric actuator from AUMA. The AUMA actuator itself is not part of the valve shown. Please contact us directly if you require an additional electric actuator.
The maximum operating pressure in the direction of conveying for this knife gate valve version is a maximum of 3 bar. Due to the materials used, this bulk material knife gate valve is designed for operation at temperatures of -10° C to 80° C. Note: Higher temperatures are possible, but information on specific operating parameters is required - please contact us.
The knife gate valve is equiped with a gate valve body made of stainless steel 1.4408 (CF8M) and includes rinsing connections to clean the cavities within the monoblock body and a slide plate made of stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316). The seat is EPDM-sealed and the installed gland packing is made of graphite.
