Universal Slide Gate Valves
The type A slide gate valve is a single-seated wafer gate valve with flanged connection conforming to EN 1092-2 PN10. The slide gate valve is universally designed for general industrial use and can therefore be used in a wide range of industries and applications.
The TYPE A slide gate valves can be used both within the piping system and as end units.
The slide gate valve is available online in nominal sizes DN 50 to DN 600. Larger nominal diameters up to DN 1200 can be requested directly.
The slide gate valves are available in different drive variants:
Manual drives:
- Handwheel (with rising stem)
- Handwheel (with non-rising stem)
- Hand lever
Pneumatic drives:
- Pneumatic cylinder (single-acting)
- Pneumatic cylinder (double-acting)
Electric drives:
- Prepared for electric actuator
Depending on the nominal width and design, the following component materials can be selected online:
Body: Stainless steel 1.4408 (CF8M) or cast iron (GJL250)
Slide plate: Stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316) or 1.4301 (AiSI 304)
Seat sealing: EPDM, Nitrile, PTFE, Silicone, Viton or metallic-seated
Gland packing: braided PTFE, Graphite, ceramic fibre or synthetic fibre (PTFE-impregnated)
Slide plate: Stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316) or 1.4301 (AiSI 304)
Seat sealing: EPDM, Nitrile, PTFE, Silicone, Viton or metallic-seated
Gland packing: braided PTFE, Graphite, ceramic fibre or synthetic fibre (PTFE-impregnated)
