Bulk Material Knife Gate Valve
The knife gate valve for bulk solids (Type C) from AKO Armaturen is a unidirectional wafer-style valve with flange connections conform EN 1092-2 PN10. Bulk material knife gate valves are specially designed for regulating and shutting off dry and free-flowing bulk materials such as powders and granulates. Thanks to the optimum flow rate, the bulk solids slide valve is also ideal for use as a silo outlet valve.
Bulk material slide valves in a wide variety of designs are available in nominal sizes DN 50 to DN 600. All bulk material slide valves are equipped with flushing ports on the monoblock housing to clean the cavities with air, steam or liquids.

Seat sealing: EPDM, Nitrile, PTFE, Silicone, Viton or metallic-seated
Gland packing: braided PTFE, Graphite, ceramic fiber or synthetic fiber (PTFE-imprgnated)
